It’s Autumn

God made all of the seasons
Summer and autumn, and winter and spring
Each one is lovely and different
Today of the autumn, the autumn I sing.

It’s autumn and I’m in a pumpkin mood
It’s autumn and the squirrels hide their food
Yes, it’s autumn and the leaves are turning gold
It’s autumn and the nights are growing cold.

Looking out my window I see lots and lots of squirrels
They’re gathering up acorns with their little tiny hands
They put them in their mouths until their cheeks expand.
And when their cheeks are puffy and they cannot hold anymore
They dig a little hole and put them in the ground
And store them up for winter when there’s no more food around.
